Good food, good stories — from Santa Fe, New Mexico
The one-hour question

Will Drive for Food

New Mexico is a big, beautiful, hungry-making state, and some of its best plates are nowhere near my house. Each dispatch here answers one question a critic can't resist: is this restaurant worth more than an hour's drive for lunch or dinner? The odometer doesn't lie, and neither will I.

First Stop: NOSA

An hour north of Santa Fe, out in the country. Fork-tender braise, piped potato purée, a sharp apple slaw — Dale's full write-up of the trip (and the verdict on the miles) is on its way.

The Salad That Rode Shotgun

Butter lettuce, radishes, walnuts, and something golden and crispy — course two at NOSA. Story to come with Dale's review.
